So I am not sure this is the write section but I'll post here anyway. As you can tell with the pics below my bumper is not exactly flush with and it kind of sticks out a bit, you can see and if you rub your finger across you can feel it. Well my friend told me that I need bumper brackets because mine are either gone or worn out.. Can ya'll tell what I need and why I have that game and what maybe the part number it would be etc? Thanks

If you have an older 8...those retainers have been replaced by ones that work better. The originals are white and the new part is black I think

Look on onlinemazdaparts to find the part

Thanks and yes I have a 2004, and to verify they are called retainers exactly or bumper retainers? and are they specific to rx8? Ill go look

Ok, I think I found out, the right and left retainers.. Do any other parts connect to that, that I would need?

I used to have that problem when the tech broke my retainer (bracket) when replacing HIDS.

The early model 04's come with with a white bracket. The later models come with the updated bracket (black)

I replaced those as well as the black parts that are located right under the lights... I'll try to find the part name.
