Burning Oil and the foam at the bottom of engine

My car burned 1 1/2 quart or oil and right at the tip of my dipstick is white/yellowish milky looking foam on it...I have seen the threads about the foam and stuff but burning 1 1/2 quart of oil? Lol...I run my car hard but damn...lol.. I have around 8,000 miles on the car. I think either the shop didnt put the right oil type to meet GF standards for the car or they are using some other type of oil... Or maybe simply didnt put enough oil back in it lol...They are screw ups they put double gaskets on my sisters S2000 and it caught on fire and they had to buy it off her.
I was just checking is this any cause for alarm. I dont red line my car I get it to like 6.5 and shift..But even if I was doing it at 8 it still shouldnt burn oil like that.
Please post any info you have that may be helpful.

Thanks.

The oil use is common with the rotary. Did you not read anything about that before buying the car? Plus the threads on here have tons of info on it. The oil foam happens too, no problem with car but they do have a fix out for it because it makes the dipstick hard to read.

How many miles did it take to burn 1.5 quarts?

FYI,
Mine burns about 1 qt every 1500 miles.
I check it every 1000 miles or so. From other peoples posts, this is normal.
