A/C Blowing Warm

A/C Blowing Warm
First off, if this has already been discussed, then I'm sorry. Its been a very long day and my searching skills are a little weak right now. Onto my problem.
Today my A/C crapped out on me. It was working great all day. After work I replaced all the fuses (radio isn't working either, thought I'd replace em all to be safe). Since then, my A/C has been blowing hot. Hot like the heater is on. I checked the fuse again. Still good. I replaced it again thinking maybe it was a bad fuse. No help. Any ideas???

A) Does it only blow hot with the actual A/C button lit?
B) Does it change temp at all if you spin the temperature control dial?
If no to both, then search for "temperature control **** DIY" Common failure for the control dial to loose it's solder connection with the board behind it, and it gets stuck on heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

RX8Soldier: Thanks! I'm looking through those.
RIWWP: It gets hotter. Thats about it. My entire radio face plate doesn't light up. It was like that yesterday but the A/C was blowing cold. Blew cold this morning. Blew cold this afternoon. Only after I changed the fuses its been blowing hot.

Try pulling the battery's negative cable for a few minutes, then reconnecting. There is a rare issue where the control module gets "stuck" and needs a reboot. Perhaps that is what you are running into.

UPDATE: I removed the negative cable. It blew cold for about a minute. Then started blowing hot again. I'm thinking it might be the connections on the temperature dial. I disconnected the battery again and still blew hot. Didn't blow cold at all that time. It seems like its when the car warmed up that blows hot. Which why I believe its some bad connections.

Pulled everything apart again today. Solder points all seemed to be good. Put everything back together, made sure everything was tightened up nicely (not too tight), put it all back together. Still blows hot. Could be a fuse or relay thats bad? Or if it was would the A/C not work at all?

Faceplate hasn't been lit up for like 2 weeks, but the A/C was working fine up until Friday evening. I'll try to see if I can one the techs at work look at it tomorrow. If they can't find anything, I might have to take into Mazda.

If I replace my radio, faceplate, and a/c controls, think that would solve my problem?? Might I add that my radio is not working either at this time. But it wasn't working before the ac went bad

Have you conducted the built-in heater control **** test? The one that uses the display to show you what signal is being sent by the unit? Have you confirmed that the **** is working correctly?

The display, unfortunately isn't working. I don't know why. I haven't used the temp **** in months. I live in FL, so I always keep on cool. I did take it all apart to look at the solder points, and they all looked good. I put all back together, nothing. As far as my radio and display not working, I'm lost on that too. I've triple checked all plugs and they're good. But that's not as important to me as the ac. If it means replacing everything, then I'll do it. I have a Veilside front lip I can live with out, but I can't live without the ac

That helps a bunch then.
This issue is likely common to all of the issues you noted. I wouldn't call this "AC not working", until you know that the AC control module is correctly getting the right signals to turn on. At this point, it's more likely that it just isn't even getting that command, and this isn't an AC issue at all.
I would address this issue with the audio guys, see if you can find any cases where the console itself wouldn't respond, stuck without getting power, etc... and what happened, what it took to correct.
