A/C not cooling
#2
Not exactly creating a mountain of information for us to go on here.
So a short list:
- AC belt snapped
- AC compressor seized
- AC pulley clutch not engaging
- AC refrigerant gone
- temperature control **** failure
- engine not running

That isn't any more helpful.
For example, my temperature gauge doesn't have any numbers on it, and even if it did, #2 could be from either direction.
Are you saying that this is a problem?
If so, you still haven't mentioned what it ISN'T doing that it should be.

Wait, what?!?!
Are we still talking about automotive air conditioning???
On a serious note, I presume you are talking about the fan speed (since it's the only thing labeled with a number.) What SPECIFICALLY happens in the other settings? The fan still moves air faster on #3, but not as cold? The fan still moves air slower on #1 but not as cold? No air is blowing out the vents? Do you have a thermometer that you could put in the vents and compare circumstances?
If you really want help, you are going to have to provide every detail you can think about. "not cooling right" is too vague and all you are going to get is generic guesses.

^ That's a good point.
And it's possible it's entirely normal then. Since slower moving air will have more heat extracted in the same travel distance through the A/C system than faster air. Max fan speed has never been the coldest vent air. It's still roughly the same amount of heat being removed 'per time interval', just more heat is getting through the A/C unextracted. And the slower fan speed might not feel colder because it's velocity is low enough that it is absorbing heat through the rest of the venting system and through the air before it gets to his face.

3 days, still no response or clarification, and on top of that, he didn't actually state a problem to begin with. Just a status that could be entirely within normally accepted operation.
