Make it two then!

And ask them how they cleaned the throttle body and report it back here........I wanna see what they tell you they did.

yeah its running much better. Whatever there reflash was for the low engine power worked. Its nothing amazing but man, it feels MUCH better, I dont hate the car as much anymore
I dont really hate the car, I hate the transmission. Im constantly praying to god I dont get creamed from behind every time I pull out of my neighborhood (I have to pull out right after a corner so you can always see peopel coming)

I have 102k on my '04...about 70k on 2nd engine. Had that problem this morning on the way to work. Stalled at nearly every stop light and had a CEL. Funny thing is the car runs great besides that...power is all there any everything else is 100% fine. Dealer said I need a new secondary shutter valve. So after another trip to the dealership emptying my bank account that's it for this car. Time to sell it and move on. I can't stand this anymore. I'd rather have a car payment than deal with anymore of this crap.

cleaning the SSV doesn't seem all that hard. Check the threads on here and see what you can do. I'm having the same issue with my SSV, but i'm not going to the dealership to pay 750 bucks for them to replace my SSV. Since it's only doing it when its cold, i'm assuming its only sticking a few times and not actually stuck.

I had an 04' and the motor was replaced 4 times within 2 years. I was convinced the problem was fixed in the 06'... yeah right. It's back to the dealership (I've lost count) with having 2 coils replaced this time. I only have just over 37,000 miles on the damn thing. Conveniently, I'm one of the 1% that's having this problem with the 06'. I love the looks of the car but so freaking fed up with the motor issues. I would love to drive during the summer months without lack of power, arching and stalling issues. Dealership is trying to convince me to get into a 2010 because "They fixed the problem" Sorry, I'm not going to get conned this time.
