Question CEL running lean and get stutters only when slaming gas pedal and reaching high rpms

I went to auto zone and had my code download and to see what was wrong. Dont remember the code but I can get in a couple days when i get back home. Just trying to get input on what I can do when I get back. But they told me that my car was running lean. They gave me a list of things that it could be with the end result being the mass air flow sensor. I bought some cleaner for the the sensor and still nothing. If anyone got any other tips on what it might be or what else I could check before I just go ahead and change the sensor I would really appreciate it. Here is the problem that I am having with it in case you were wondering. The CEL comes on and goes out at random times. But I have noticed that when I really slam on the gas it starts to stutter like its being suffocated and then the CEL will come on. It runs perfectly fine when I do casual driving. Only time when I get any issues is when I really slam into it.

Went in and hard my car checked and fixed it ended up being a vacuum hose on my manifold that completely broke off. Pretty cheap to fix only ran me 45 bucks. Thank goodness

$45 bucks for a vacuum hose and to connect it! Ouch! Well.......at least it's fixed.

Ouch?

Consider that the typical labor rate can range from $60 - $120 per hour and the leak has to be found before it can be fixed ....

I know, guess I was speculating that it might have been a cracked hose or connector up on the accordian tube(where people usually break them) and was a simple fix. But you're right.....it was an assumption and could've been a little hard to track down, esp. if you aren't mechanically inclined and haven't been around an engine bay before.
