CEL went away?
so first a lil info an 04 gt 6speed 68k on the clock gutted cat recently installed new coils
so i have had a cel due to the gutted cat for almost a year now and today after a quick fillup i get in the car get on the road and feel like somethings wrong, whats missing? take a look around and slowly come to realize my check engine light isnt illuminated for the first time in nearly 11 months......this actually has me worried as silly as that sounds.
did my o2 sensor finally commit suicide? is this a sighn of the apocolypse? wtf is going on and where the **** is my CEL?
anyone experience this?
anything to worry about?

Typical.
The ECU has only a loose idea of how to figure out if the cat is missing. Running catless could produce a constant CEL, but might not produce one at all, and might be intermittant.
No one has actually pinpointed the causes for which.
