clutch drops?

I have an 04. Bought it with rough shifting. Noticing it getting worse. Yesterday got my manual trans fluid replaced, or so I'm told by valvoline. Now my clutch like drops right before its pressed all the way in but it's smooth until that point. And shifting is now even worse. I got a feeling valvoline didnt replace the fluid because they seemed sketchy when they were doing it. And clutch fluid (just dot 3) should stiffen the pressure right? Need some guidence.

I'm confused, did they change your transmission fluid AND clutch/brake fluid(they share the same system/reservoir)? You only mention them changing the transmission fluid but then talk about dot 3 fluids.

If the DOt 3 was changed everything will need bleeding. Hows the brakes? If the brakes are fine and they did bleed the clutch master then It sounds to me your clutch master is bad or the slave cylinder. Both are easy to replace and since you went because of shifing issues I think the clutch is not releasing the TOB all the way.
