Clutch not fully engaging?
I'm getting an issue similar to my last one where reverse wasn't catching, I'll post up the video when I get home. The noise is similar to what happened with reverse, I have the video posted below, but it's MUCH more subtle. In the video it's really hard to hear it over the engine noise because of how soft it is.
So it's the same type of noise, really quite, goes away when I press in the clutch, and gets louder and faster when I rev the engine. Any ideas?
ALSO: happenes whether i'm in gear or neutral.

I've talked to a couple people and they have suggest that it is a throw-out bearing. Thoughts?
EDIT: And after FINALLY finding a SINGLE thread about this issue, GO48 suggest that it is an idle shaft and it's completely normal. Is it normal? It seems weird to hear this constant whirring sound and if it's going to come back after I fix it I might as well just leave it.

I replaced my clutch with a new Spec 6 months ago and now I have the same problem. When the car is running I can't shift into any gear, so at stop lights I have to turn it off and shift into 1st then turn it on. I took it to Aamco and they told me it was the clutch and I had to replace it again. I offered the idea of the pedal but they told me it wasn't the pedal or hydraulics. Is it the clutch? Any thoughts?

The starter turns the flywheel, so if it's not turning the engine over, you have a bad starter or starter solenoid that can't engage the flywheel.
You might ALSO have a worn out clutch, if push starting it doesn't turn the engine over. What gear were you pushing it in?
