So my the clutch pedal has been making this slight creaking/squeaking whenever i would let off of it for awhile. But today, when i was driving, I was accelerating and changed gears and as soon as I stepped on the clutch pedal, I heard it make it loud crack/snapping noise and i thought the pedal had broken off.

After downshifting at a stop light i found it really hard to get into first gear but was able to drive home. I have to push really hard now to get into first, 6th, and i can't even get into reverse. I have to have the engine off, then put it into first or reverse in order to get the car moving. I have to push really hard to get it into each gear.

I'm planning on taking it to the dealer and having them check it out since i had the clutch replaced a year or so ago. I have the RP short shifter installed so i don't think that is the problem but i'm probably going to take it out soon and go back to stock.

Anyone else have a similar problem/experience?

Search for clutch bracket breaking. Several people have had issues with it. Might do a little research here before taking it to the dealer. Some have had troubles with dealerships omn this issue

Saw another thread with another guy in socal that had the same thing happen. I'm planning on bringing it to the dealer and getting it replaced under warranty.
