Ive had this for quite some time. New pedal = no change. Lube = no change. New slave cylinder = no change. Pedal adjustment = no change.

I've had the problem for a long time now (>30,000 miles) and still haven't found a solution. I've lubed my bracket and slave cylinder, and I even installed the bracket reinforcement from Mazsport. So if anyone knows a secret fix, speak up!

I've had this issue as well since about 5000 miles, i notice it's really bad for the first day or two when i haven't driven my car in 2 months and then it's gone. I'm at 20000 miles now.

I know exactly what you're talking about. You definitely do not need a new clutch at 16500 miles. Someone told me once that you have to lube a bearing or seal in the transmission. I'd talk to Mazda as you're still under warranty and ask them what the problem is. I'm not too sure much more about it, sorry. But fill me in as to what you find out about it.

It's possible that if it squeaks, it's gonna break: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-trouble-shooting-95/clutch-pedal-snap-off-8-year-warranty-recall-%7E%7E%7E-132912/
