Coldair intake does damage to coils?

Yes the warranty is transferable. Coolant in the oil means problems that cannot be easily fixed.

the warranty is on the car not on the owner. as long as youre within 8yr/100k its covered

Get any and all oil change receipts and maintenance records you might have.
