Compression numbers and starting rpm question
The compression numbers are as follows:
All Normalised:
Rotor 1: 758, 768, 768
Rotor 2: 535, 485, 535
Starter motor rpm when cold 180, and starter motor rpm 252 when hot. Car starts easily cold or hot. Once started hot on a dying battery also.
The car runs fine, pulls well and idle is rock solid, has dynode at 158 bhp at 8000 rpm will a filthy air filter, very old spark plugs, bad very worn coils and bad leads.
For some reason I do not find the compression numbers believable. In your experience is an engine like this able to start easily hot or cold at those rpm's and has no hesitation whatsoever to go to redline?

Compression numbers and starting rpm question
Some people report having zero symptoms of compression loss, yet still fail the test. Either ensure that the test was performed correctly, take it for a second opinion or do as dannobre suggests.
