Compression test
Ran codes the other day and had a cylinder 1 miss fire, scheduled a compression test for next monday, will keep you guys informed of what happens. If i have a loss of compression im looking into getting a 20b.

you're doing a compression test because of a misfire?
how old are your spark plugs? Have the wires been replaced? Do you have the OEM ignition? If so, how old are the coils? Did you test those?
In my experience the 'cylinder 1 misfire' and low compression are typically not related issues.
Going 20b? Hope you have $15k saved up...

Going to agree with Jedi here. A misfire is almost always a bum coil or plug. Depending on your ignition system this could be more or less common. Also, as Jedi already stated, the hidden costs of going 20b are very high. Sure the motor isn't that bad, but the sheer amount of custom work you're going to need it where the bulk of your cost is going to come from. It's not pretty.

thanks guys thats why i posted here, well a 20b is definitely in my future. not sure how far away but its coming. and i havent checked any of the coils or ignition yet. the plugs have less than 2k miles on the. the plugs will be replaced with my oil change on monday. I guess i'll cancel the compression test and check all the possibilities you guys listed. Thanks alot!

I have man. I never said how soon I was going to swap. I'm going to admit im very inexperienced with a rotary. I've search all the codes I've pulled. I just wanted others people opinions, hence the new thread.
