KY Config Navigation System

I just bought a 2004 rx8. Its has a navigation system but it seems not to be set up. Whenever it opens it shows the mazda logo and says "insert disk". What disk do i need to buy in order to fix this and do i put it in the cd player or the dvd player in the back?

You will need the nav disc that works with the 04-05 systems. It goes in the rear player. Here is a link to the map sight:

Here is a question I have been scowering the forums looking for someone that has a solution other than a full system gutting that would allow me to use my navigation system with an up to date map. I have an 04 as well and the disk is the 08 navteq dis which is their most recent release... It appears that in 05 a different company makes the 8 navigation disks... is there a more recent disk, maybe from a different company, that I can use that would work in my 8?
