Coolant level issues

I'm having some strange coolant level issues. Occasionally the low coolant level light comes on in my car. The coolant reservoir is full, I flushed the coolant a couple of months ago (running a 70/30 water/coolant mix for my climate), and the coolant temps when this occurs are always between 190-205 degrees F (monitored with a scangauge II). I changed the radiator cap thinking that might be the culprit, but it didn't make a difference. Car has the original water pump and thermostat, 67k miles.

Other than the light coming on, the car has no other symptoms. The coolant temps stay in the same range as they did before the light started coming on, and the car runs fine otherwise.

What could be causing this?

Do a search for Jesus sake, it's a known issue with the sensor. I said that because of your location!

Either search "coolant bottle" "or "coolant light"

Here's two to get you started!
