Hey everyone, I've looked around the forum and haven't found anyting quite like this so I figured I 'd post to see if anyone else has had this issue or has any advice on figuring out what's wrong.

My 8's cruise control works fine whenever I have my headlights off, but anytime I turn my headlights on the car's cruise control goes out. If I'm in cruise control and I turn my headlights on it disengages it and if I already have my headlights on I can't engage it at all.

Not that cruise control is absolutenly necessary, but it does get annoying on longer trips and boring drives from Columbus to Cincinnati.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A side note: My abs system also has a similar issue related with the headlights too, so I don't know if that would have any affect on the cruise control systems.
