Dead Battery? But the battery isn't dead

This morning I went to start my car and it wouldn't start, When I turn the key the dash light's did not come on and the car doesn't even attempt to start. This happened once before. I went and got someone to try and jump it because I assumed it was dead, when they came out to help me before we could do anything I tried again and the car started fine. Any Ideas? Anything I should check? luckily this happened in my driveway. I would hate for it to happen anywhere else.

It could be any number of things. You need to properly diagnose the problem.

Engine ---> Troubleshooting ------> will not crank.

Start by insuring the battery connections are clean & tight.

Right on, Just thought it was weird that without doing anything it all of the sudden starts like normal, and when this happens I can still lock it with my remote and the lights blink and horn goes off. I think it has to do with the steering column, or loose connection in the key ignition or something... As you can tell I'm no pro at this :P
