CO Display works but no sound?!?!

I have a power aucoustik aftermarket touch screen deck in my rx8. It has been working great since i bought it. The trunk was stripped from a previous owner. I put OEM carpet back in the trunk so it doesnt look like crap. I turned the car back on but now my speakers wont work. The deck turns on and displays fully but there is no sound. I didnt mess with any wiring when puting the carpet in.
*ALSO* just messing around with it trying to get it to work i turned the car to the on position without starting it and the speakers came on for a breif second or two but then cut out agiain. And it was a one time deal because its not doing that agian.
If you are anywhere close to Lone Tree/Denver Colorado feel free to let me know if you can help.
Thanks!

P.S. I am a new User and this is my first Thread so dont be too harsh if i did something wrong...

If you are looking for someone to help you out in person you would be better off posting in your regional forum. https://www.rx8club.com/mountain-for...-12618/page40/

Post more info about your setup. Are you running an amp, factory or aftermarket? Really though if it worked before and suddenly does not work after putting in the carpet you should know where to start. Pull the carpet out and see what you did in there. Chances are pretty good something happened when installing the carpet.
