DSC error when OBD adapter plugged in

DSC error when OBD adapter plugged in
When I plug a generic ELM327 OBDii bluetooth adapter into my 8, the stability control disables by its self sometimes. Not 'DSC OFF', but the car with the swerving road, and it can't be turned on with the button, only by restarting car.
This happens almost immediately after plugging in the OBDii adapter.
The only other time something similar happened was when using another adapter (different brand) AND I programmed the PID to read individual wheel PSI and temp via Torque app. I erased the custom PID and never had the issue again. Now using a different bluetooth adapter and getting this issue. Any ideas or information on how to diagnose? I have no idea where to even start looking and diagnosing
Thank You

Anyone know what the OBD2 Protocol for our cars should be?

It happenes sometimes to me. When I start the car after I disconnected the battery with my OBD gauge plugged in, DSC light will stay on, red KEY light will stay on, tachometer will sometimes drop to 0, does not seem to impact anything thought besides DSC.

the sooner you learn how to search the sooner you will get answers, these cars are 15 years old; it’s likely on here somewhere, which it is multiple places

Mm interesting input, yes the 'key' too. It's mildly disturbing to have a device plugged into the car cause this issue and could be dangerous.
😘 thanks
You must love it
