Dx Engine Flooding

Dx Engine Flooding
Hey, so I have a 2005 4 spd auto and I think the engine might be flooded. Can someone give me a detailed list of how to know if you're engine is flooded? I've looked and all I can really find is "it wont start". What I'm asking is for more details if anyone has them. Should it try to start? Like should you hear "backfire" sounds or should you just hear the starter and stuff turning over but the engine not firing?
Also, the car needs a new radiator. Should I replace that before attempting the deflood, or would it be fine to do the deflood process just to find out if thats the issue before replacing the radiator?

The radiator and flooding have nothing in common, so go ahead and try the deflood procedure and deal with the radiator separately.
You can pull the spark plugs and see if there is fuel on them, clean them off and try to start the car. I wouldn't waste time on that until you've confirmed your ignition coils are healthy and attempted the deflood procedure.

The battery needs to be healthy and fully charged.
Be sure the terminals are clean and tight.
If you're unsure whether the battery is good or not, have it tested.
