Engine bogs but still idles
Wats up club! Now I have a bit of a problem. I havent had anything go wrong with my rx8 yet until now. I bought it used with 90K and the thing ran strong. I ran a compression test and it came out perfect across the board. I recently changed the plugs, coils, wires and installed a cat-less mid pipe. Ive ran the mid pipe for the past week with no problems wat so ever. Ok so on to wats going worng. On wednesday I started the car for work like i normally do and let it sit for about 10 min before I start heading out. It started fine and ran perfect. I left work about 4 hours later for lunch. When i started it, it felt as if the battery was about to die, the cranks went slow as ever but it turned over promptly. Still nervous about earlier in the day i hesitated to turn on the car that night leaving work to go home. And to my surprise the starter kept clicking rapidly. *click*click*click*click*click*click*click*click*! ! So as i was about to call for a tow, i tried turning the key a few more times. After about 5-10 minutes of it just clicking and stopping, clicking and stopping, it finally turned over slowly. I got it home and the next day I bought a new battery and starter. I had work so i couldnt exactly install the starter just yet. I popped in the new battery and it turned over fine and ran fine. I got home from work at about 1030 tonight and went right to work installing the new starter. Everything went smoothly and when I started it back up it idled fine for a min or 2 then starting bogging down. NOW HERES THE PROBLEM. the car doesnt shut itself off or feel weird when driving it. It still has all the power but when coming to a stop, the car idles under 750 rpm at about 350-500 or so and it fluctuates back up to 700-750 as if its trying to get itself back to where it should be. Also i noticed when i first got the car, if i would continuously press the brake, the idle would raise. Now, when i do it the car bogs down lower and doesnt raise a bit. Ive searched on the forums but only found similar but not the exact problem i have. Anybody have any ideas?

Also heres some more info on the car to help u guys out.
Its a 2004 manual
completely stock with the exception of the cat-less mid pipe and NGK wires.
I also cleaned the MAF after i noticed the bogging and it still happens.

Just one. I mean i had the battery disconnected for about 2 hours, installed the starter then turned it right on (started perfectly) then drove around town for about 30 minutes. Its sitting right now outside with the battery connected. Im hoping tomorrow morning will be better. Since i had the car running earlier today, it was still warm. Im thinking that maybe when I start tomm. morning for work something will be different because when the car is completely cold the ecu runs it scan rather than when its warm when it uses the previous scan. Any thoughts?
