Engine cuts off during high acceleration
Hi
i have a 2004. rx8. lately i have been experiencing sudden engine cut off during high acceleration on hot weathers. it suddenly switches off and it takes a about 5 mins or repeated attempts of cranking to start back. changed the spark plugs and ignition coils as well. what should be the cause?

Double check your battery clamps and voltage. Mine was randomly dying on me one time and it ended up being the clamp not being tight enough to the battery.
How does it run when it's not stalling?

That sounds like an overheating fuel pump, and it has to cool down in order to start pumping again.
Be advised that fuel pump failure and/or fuel pump shut-off during high load (hard acceleration) has a chance at creating a sudden lean spike that can destroy your engine. Until you get the issue diagnosed completely and a fix resolved, I highly recommend you avoid high load high RPM use.
Moving to Troubleshooting.
