Engine dies, wont take fuel

Okay so I had just picked my '05 GT up from getting the shocks/struts, brakes replaced and after picking it up I immediately headed out of town to the curviest roads I could find...I guess I was pushing it pretty hard and afterwards I noticed the throttle wasn't responding for a second or two. It seemed to clear up for a couple of miles (no engine lights) but then came back and died on me (first time ever) I let it sit for a few minutes and it started, got a few miles further then did it again, same routine (hard to start but not terrible, engine light comes on) I eventually made it home and hooked up my OBDII but all it was showing was an old eccentric shaft code so no help...Do RX's have throttle position sensors? any idea what I may have done? Engine revved and sounded normal when it was running but it wouldn't get above 35-45mph Thanks for reading, UPDATE: After sitting for an hour plus it started up normally with no CEL, I drove it around the block...seems normal but of course I didn't push it at all. UPDATE 2: After two days my GT is still running normally which while I'm VERY thankful for I'm still curious as to what may have occurred...sure rides nice with the new strut assembly's!

My Baby
any help would be appreciated!!!
