Engine kinda hiccups at idle.

I have had this issue with the engine kind of sputtering or having a slight hiccup at idle for the past month or so. The idle on the tach stays solid but I can physically feel this when Im sitting at a light.

My car has 29,8XX miles, 05', MT.

1000 miles ago I changed the plugs, coils, and did magnecor wires.

Motor mounts changed about 2000 miles ago.

I havent checked the wires on the plug yet, but I made sure that when I installed them they were seated good.

Should I be worried?

Anything change recently in gas grade/source being used; weather been colder/wetter than what your used to; or other factors that might be more circumstantial than mechanical/electrical?

Usually an ignition thing.

Sit in your car and slighty ease down on the gas ped. When you do this, if you feel the car kind of sputter it sounds like you have miss. Check coils, plugs and wires. If this is not it, post back and I will get you more info.

Yeah I was hearing/feeling it miss.

The wires and plugs only have about 1000 miles on them.

The coils might have 5000 or so miles on them.

I cleaned the MAF and reset the PCM, so far seem to be running ok.

You think my Magnecores could have been an issue?

Im wondering if I may have a clogged cat?

I think its been on there for about a year, but then again I really havent felt a loss of power or anything that I can tell.

I have a 2006 GT MTX, only 7500 miles on it, not driving it at the moment, as it is stored for the winter. More or less completely stock, no engine mods yet.

But I have experienced the same "sputter", but it only happens when I first start it after it has sat at work all day or overnight. When I first start it, it's super smooth at idle. If I give it a little gas in neutral while idling before driving off, it will do that "miss", or sputter that Vaschiko described. Then if I let off and repeat, it does it again, but only at HIGHER rpms than the previous rev. After a few of those, it's gone. Plus, if I take off, there's no hint of it (i.e, under load), whether I waited after starting or started out driving right away.

Wondering if cleaning the MAF sensor will work for me too... Anyone think this sounds similar to Vaschiko's symptoms? Other than this, the car is flawless.
