Engine replacement question...

Hey guys! When an 04 motor needs replacement - is it replaced with a revised (read fixed) version of the one that it replaced? My car started showing symptoms of a blown motor today and I will be taking it into the dealer tomorrow. It has 67K on it so I take it that I am to pay for gaskets and plugs if it needs replacment?

The engines are rebuilt with new parts. Please give us the history on your car. The service it's had parts replaced. Type of driving it gets(long commutes, short trip), fuel used(reg or prem), ever flooded. Just any thing that you can add. If you bring in your car for poor performance. They will say first off are your plugs, coils, wires new? Then quote you $600-700 which you can do for two or three hundred in an hour with a buddy.

Well, as far as service goes I purchased the car with 66K on the clock. I immediately had the oil changed after purchase at the dealer (had the car looked at as well) but am not sure what service was done on the car by the first owner. It was purchased at a dealer and was a one owner car that is in really good shape. I have only put 1k on the car and have kept it aggressive with the revs. Taking it to the dealer this morning and will let you know what I find out....
