exhaust bolt action springs HELP
Ok so I got my burn suit on I'm sure this has been discussed but I'm in serious need of some quick help. So I needed a new catalytic converter and muffler for my 8 decided to go with a oem standard instead of the actual oem cat because of the 1000 dollar price difference but the dealership can't reattach my cat to the pipe apparently the flange of the cat is to thick for the spring loaded bolts to be tightened so my question is what can I do?? Are the springs removable? Is there a longer bolt o can buy somewhere? I feel like im in quit the pickle right now maybe it's just because ever since I bought my 8 a month and a half ago it seems like everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this I miss my rotary and I don't know if I can stand driving my little brothers EP3 another day

sorry to thread jack...but im having a similar problem (only its that mine are stripped on the first few threads, so next time i remove it, which will be the next few days when i get a new catback, i wont be able to put those bolts back on.)
would we be able to use more standard bolts with washers to allow the springs on the exhaust?
would we be able to use more standard bolts with washers to allow the springs on the exhaust?
