well tonight i was parking my car at a friends house(doesnt have a paved driveway) and i bottomed out and i had a rattle like a hangar was broken.. it was rattling when i was driving it and when it was idleing.. but not a constant rattle jsut here and there..when i got home and got it on stands.. i left it idleing to check and see if i could it... nothing..

any suggestions that might lead me in the right direction..

in refference i also did scrape my cat pretty good a couple of days ago..
and im also still on a stock exhaust

 

With the car up on stands, it probably allowed whatever was loose to fall to one side and away from what its rattling on. Might need to try idling it while flat on the ground and see if you can narrow it down underneath.

 

Also... did you notice if the hangers were on the grommets? Usually tough to get those off, but its a quick look-over to rule that out.

 

yeaa thats wat i was thinking as well but i did let it idle on flat ground and nothing... il drive tomorrow around the block and see wat happens when i put a load on it.. im thinking that it was the cat.. when i was looking at the cat i noticed there was some dirt around the opening and maybe a small rock or something had gotton in there and there are no broken hangers/grommets
