Fake spark plugs

Let me also say my experience of buying spark plugs from Greece. Do not buy one from this thief. They are fake spark plugs and will damage your engine. At 3,000 miles my own had melted and one of the four coils burned.

Left one from Greece, right one from UK Re7c. Greek one has bigger center hole and smaller electrode. The other Re9b-t looks different too (will take photos later)... Unless there are 2 different versions of the same model, I guess Greek one is fake. They lasted 2 weeks in my FI renesis. I'll post more info later

Greek one (right) got different part number
Stamping of Japan is deeper in the original ones
Hard to catch on camera, font style is different in the model and leading
Holes in the Greek ones have 2mm approx bigger diameter, and thinner electrodes.
Unless NGK have different variants of the same model, I consider this as fake.
I was lucky to find it sooner thanks to the misfire is too obvious when running FI, but those NA be careful as you might damage your cat and even engine by the time you found it there were fake.
I bought this sparkplugs for a normal price in Greece. This is what makes them harder to spot as when you buy let's say Chinese coils price is way cheaper and design too.
Be careful!

Interesting and concerning at the same time!
By the look of your pics the JAPAN stamp is also a different font, notice the underscore on the P and also N is different.
I do recall a Youtube clip a few years ago that outlined some of the fake differences against genuine NGK plugs. Not specific to rotary though.
