ON First time rx-8 buyer

i am interested in purchasing a use Rx8 with 98000km on it in Toronto
i am a new to this rotary engine world and the seller said that it needs a throwout bearing to be replaced at a cost of around $700 Canadian

i have researched that the throwout bearing has some connection to noises when depressing the clutch, but i just have some questions i need help with:

1) is this a normal price for the repair?
2) if this throwout bearing needs replacing is there anything else that normally needs to be repaired along with this?
3)is this noise a normal aspect of the car?

There's a recall regarding the clutch pedal assembly and I think this may fall under that category. You should tell him to have it done.

I got boned by the dealer when I brought my 8 in for that clutch noise. Told me it was normal.

It depends which dealerships you go to. Anyway, you know about this sayin'..."If it isn't broken, don't fix it", and that sounds like some dealerships motto, like the dealership you went to...lol
