flush out antifreeze

so yeah i might get like attacked cuz of this..but yeah how do i flush out all my antifreeze? i know there the screw on the radiator, is that it? i need to get every single drop out! i mixed orange and green antifreeze, so yeah, not a good idea..so i need very detailed info plz, thanks!

There is a drain on the radiator...and one on the block near where the engine ground is ( center drivers side very bottom of the engine)

Open both..let it drain out......stick a hose in the overflow bottle and let the water rinse out the system if you have decent water...otherwise you would be better using a couple of gallons of distilled water, and letting that drain ..or just adding new coolant and leaving it at that

Run water through the coolant tank to flush it out

damm well i kinda just went for it before anyone answerd this..all i did was drain it and then just put a hose where u put the coolant in..then i just let my engine run, reved it a bit until it just drained clear water..i guess that might have worked 2

did yo have rust or particulates in the fluid? a drain and fill might have been ok. When you put the new fluid in did you test it properly? If not then you need to purchase this:

Basically you adjust the antifreeze levels to the coldest winter ever recorded -10 from that. If you put to much antifreeze then you don't get as good a cooling on the engine, to little antifreeze and you will crack the housings. You need to test what temp your coolant level is safe guarded against.

yeah idk what rust or particulate is, but i did use one of those meters, not that exact one, but yeah one like it, mine just has some little ***** that float up when it sucks the coolant
