Front O2 installation help

Yes I've used the search tool and read up on exactly what this is..I'm more looking for how difficult/easy this is to install. Do I have to have the dealer do it or would I be able to myself on a nice day?

On a scale of 1-10, and 10 being difficult, its about a 2. It will take you about 15 minutes, thats with a cigarette and a coffee break.

???? Seriously a 2?
And 15 minutes?

I would agree for the rear O2 sensor but not the front O2 sensor.

I have an 05 and my front 02 sensor was basically welding in there, when I took it out it screwed the threads.

Not to mention I had the entire manifold off and not doing it in place.

You'll be fine.

I'm just saying the front is a lot harder than the rear.
Make sure you know the difference.
Go slow and take your time.
You do not have to remove the manifold to change the Front O2, mine was off for my turbo build.

You can approach the job either for the bottom or the top, I recommend letting some liquid wrench soak on the O2 sensor for awhile before trying to remove it.

There is a work shop manual available online from foxed.ca
Go there and have a look at the work required.

edit .. the manual on foxed.ca is located under the RX7 manuals .. look way down at the bottom to find it

YOu didn't say what year your car is, but I'll guess it's an 04 - 08 ?????

Manual Upstream = Front = N3H3-18-8G1A (04 - 08)
Manual Downstream =Rrear = N3H3-18-861B9U (04 - 08)

See this link and paste in that first part number in the search box.
