front pads confusion...
Okay i got pagid brake pads on front and i am changing them but the new pads do not fit in the clips... The supplier says they should fit in the oem clips but i think i have custom clips on the pagid pads. Can i fit the new pads without the clips? Or where can i get oem clips from. Perhaps someone has a picture of how their pads are installed?

Yep, you do need those to hold the pads in place; without those clips, your pads will cause clicking sounds as the wheel rotates. Sometimes it gets compressed and you need to expand it so your pads are snug and not loose. Refer to your dealer if they can provide you a new set of replacements.
In the meantime, here's a very informative post everyone should take time to read: BRAKE FAQ

Thank you, I have contacted the supplier about the issue. I have Pagid brake pads with lots of wear but the squeaking they make is horrific everyone looks when im braking. I am having to change the pads. After taking the pads off the surface looked smooth/glazed so this is what i think is linked to the noise.

Okay an update on this... Have been to a Mazda specialist who told me Mazda released a "Shim" kit that come with all OEM pads? Does anyone know about this? As he said my pads are fine its just because i dont have the shims?

The shims are the flat plates that attaches to the outside of the pads, ideally, an anti-squeal is applied on the outside of the pads and the shims(I think) are placed over the compound. If you don't have the shims, you can still use the anti-squeal but apply it on the surface the pads come in contact with the brake caliper and the piston. You should be okay without the shims.
Regarding the glaze on your rotors, did you bed the new Pagid brake pads properly? Read the link about BRAKE FAQ that I attached in my previous post regarding how to bed in the new pads.
