A few things for you to consider:
93 octane has nothing to do with the ethanol content. You can add ethanol to increase octane, but you can get to 93 octane without ethanol. In the US, the only public brand gas that does not have any ethanol in it is Shell V-Power (I believe that is accurate, correct me if I am wrong someone), which is 93 octane in the east, 91 octane in the west (CA makes them add other stuff that drops the octane). Every other brand is known to add ethanol to their "premium", which in FL is usually 93 octane, but 91 octane is possible. Sunoco often has 92 octane as well around here for some reason.
So, if the 93 octane that you added was from Shell, then you don't have ethanol in it. If it was from somewhere else, then yes, you do have ethhanol.
The next point to consider is that having ethanol in your gas will drop your gas mileage a bit (not much, but a bit), but is otherwise not harmful to your car. E-85 WOULD be harmful, because the ethanol content is so high that it can cause corrosion. The "E-10" (10% ethanol) that is most gas sold in the US does not have enough ethanol to cause corrosion problems, and you iwll not suffer any harm for using it.
I can't really answer your question regarding the ethanol treatment, mainly because I don't know what you believe to be the problem, so I can't give an answer as to if it will solve that problem yet.

^ agreed, same review.
Carab, if you have a complaint, please let us know, because we aren't seeing what you are. Your prior 3 posts in 2 threads had no negative reaction or attitude toward you. Did you have a different user id in the past or something?
