fuel starvation, misfire, or TC? @ SoW
I attached the map of Streets of Willow and drew the red arrow in the area where this occurred.
I was at WOT coming through the turn and it felt like I lifted for a count of "one-one thousand" before WOT acceleration resumed. It happened to me on two laps, both of which were later in the day. Fuel level was between 2/3 and 1/2 tank. Car is an 06 with 45k miles. It drove great at all other points of the day.
To me it sounds like the fuel starvation issue people have described due to the pump, but since I am a track noob I wanted to ask to be sure. I didn't see any dash lights, but I may have missed them. Full TC was on but I don't think it was TC because I didn't see the light, didn't feel any ABS, and I wasn't on the edge or anything. I wasn't near the redline fuel cut either, probably closer to 6k rpm there.
Does it sound like fuel starvation? If so, is it dangerous for the engine? Should I replace the pump before doing another track day?

It's the usual fuel starvation in long left handers problem...look around for solutions..
A common one is to swap a 255L/hr Walbro pump in...BHR sells a kit with the pump and a needed o-ring for a great price

what he said.. guessing you are the previous owner premixed without "style"
your fuel pump is failing, it will get worse.
you missed the missfire cel that happens the lap or two before.

It does sound like fuel pump.
I would install a fuel pressure gauge and make the same run again, does fuel pressure drop?
With a fuel pressure gauge you can prove what the problem actually is, before trying to fix it.

Thanks all. I had searched but I finally found the mother load of fuel pump info in the high horsepower forum. I hadn't thought of looking in there.
Today on the highway I got a stumble at 7k+rpm, first time that has happened. My fuel light is on and this all seems to be making so much sense now, including my 15% ltft at idle I was poking around for info on last week.
I'll probably end up ordering the BHR pump in the next few days.
