Gas pedal/throttle gets almost no engine response!
I haven't driven my car in about 2 weeks and today I started it to move it and I got a few weird and bad situations.
First thing I noticed was that it didn't idle high on he initial start-up which it should and always has. Second thing is that the gas pedal has almost no effect on the rpms! If I floor it I think the revs move about 500 rpms to a max of 1500 rpms!
What could be wrong with my drive by wire?
Also, if this could be part of the problem, for about 6 months the sensor that controls the idle when the car is in neutral has been acting up. It would sometimes surge the idle and if you pressed the clutch in it would be fine.
If anyone has any ideas they are all appreciated.
P.S. I did quit a few searches and didn't find any posts dealing with a similar situation.

Ok so maybe I panicked... I fixed it already...
I disconnected the battery for about 10 mins and then after reconnecting and restarting it, all is better now.
Oh well, I'll leave this up for anyone else with rotary repair paranoia like myself.
