Glove box issues

Hi everyone. I was working on my rx8 the other day and I noticed that the glove box light wasn't working. I also know that the remote trunk opener button, in the glove box isn't allowing the fob remote to work. Any ideas? is there a fuse for this?

Thanks,

Chad

There's a remote trunk opener button in the glove box?

Yes. It's in the glove box. it says "remote trunk opener" and there's a button there. Mines a 2004, so I don't know what's changed.

That button turns the ability to open the trunk on or off(both keyfob and button under the steering wheel) , it was intended to be used with the valet key so no one could go snooping through your stuff.
Check the interior fuse box for the light or the light itself.

also not to be that guy, but a simple search here or google would have given you the answers that you seek

Thanks. I fixed the glove box light, it only works when the exterior lights are on.
