Got a couple codes I can't really understand

Just recently got my car back from the garage from replacing my transmission and got a couple problems.
My car threw a CEL the other day and here are the codes:
P2270
P0456
P0300

Is it possible that the EVAP leak is causing the random misfire? And I have no idea what p2270 is, what does it even mean?

I haven't driven an rx8 for awhile, but is the dip at around 7000rpm noticeable in first gear? Feels quite apparent for me lol

Lastly, is my differential going out? I hear a metal to metal contact at around 2-2.5k rpm in any gear and it's extremely annoying. It doesn't make much sound when the car is cold but when it's warm and you apply a bit of throttle it almost becomes unbearable! But the second you past 2700rpm it's going and doesn't make any other noise all the way to redline.

Thanks for your input!

Minor evap leak is usually the fuel filler cap
Misfires are usually Coils/Plugs/Wires

if you look at my sig I have the BHR ignition kit with the upgraded wires, so I'm guessing it's the plugs. But what about the other problems I'm having?

Check the troubleshooting guide I linked for P2270 as a starting point
And replace your gas cap.

would it affect performance in any way? and I'm guessing the front o2 sensor is the one on the cat

Also this metal to metal noise is driving me crazy, I'll try posting a video as soon as I can i'm just at work right now.

The one on the cat is the rear sensor... keep going forward... and up... if you get to the exhaust ports then you've gone too far... lol

Ray is right on and the metal to metal sound you are hearing is going to be a heat shield or the PPF not put back on right.

Alright thanks, I'll check the PPF (powerplantframe)? and the mount when i get home
If they're tightened too much that's what causes the problem right? Thanks for the help btw
Im getting everything checked out this week so hopefully it's nothing major.
