got my u flash!

why hello all i got my U flash yesterday for my 04 MT rx8 (u is the newest one) turns out i was 9 flashes behind or so the service manager claims and i got to say i love the u flash the car should never have been released without it IMHO but just curious i do like to push the car sometimes but at 7:00 in the morning when i wanna get to work i usually just like to drive a little more timid in ur opnion what is the best rpm to be driving at with the U flash to A) prolong my engine life ex carbon buildup and B) gas milege i have always heard around 4K is this true for the U flash as well?

Good news but when you have nycgps correcting your grammar you are in trouble. Trying using paragraphs and punctuation. That is the longest run on sentence I have ever read.

Well I can't help you. I called the dealer and all they have is the M so far. I drive mine sorta hard and get 22 mpg, but I also got a few mod's done. Just remember to redline it every other time and you won't have to worry.

To find out your lastest flash or anything just call the dealership and and give them your vin and they can tell you or mail you the history of the car.

I believe the msp16 is the M flash dozer. I think as for the U, I don't think the US has it yet unless it's considered to be one of the flashes that's out with a different letter, I'd have to call MNAO.

We would normally call this the "U" flash since we generally speak of flashes in terms of the 2004 MT flash

Well I just got off the phone with MNAO and gave them my vin and the last one they have is the msp16 and they said they don't know about the U and mine's an 05 M/T. So you say it's in the sticky, I'll have to look again. Sometimes when you call people there or at the dealership it kinda goes in one ear and out the other.

Well I get around 22mpg mixed driving and highest is up at 25, but I follow freights on the interstate. I also have pulley kit, intake, exhaust so I don't know if that will affect the mpg greatly, but to me and my readings I seem to gain 2 mpg, but that's my opinion and research I've done with my car.
