nice try, but you're fooling yourself. NEVER had brakes that loose pedal height due to air being in the lines. it doesn't even make sense. I have seen brakes that go all the way to the floor with air in the lines. which you could not test this on.

MORE over, i had a customer a few years back that drove his honda for 6 months with a leaking front brake line. it was soo slow that he'd only have to refill the reservoir once every 3 or 4 weeks.
NOT in
.... about 3 or 4 pumps of the pedal to render the brakes useless and pump the majority of the fluid out of the system.
ffs.. forum mechanics. and a girl at that.

My bad, I didn't see the "if it doesn't go to the floor" my apologies. Although i have seen it happen with old vettes. Even with a power bleeder, you have to bang on the calipers with a hammer to get the air out. Never seen anything like it.

Ment to give an update sooner, I forgot. But it was definitely the master brake cylinder. I replaced that and bled the brakes. Its working now.
