Hard start with cel Help!!!!

Yesterday I installed the K&N Ver2 intake onto my car. But before I put the intake sensor back in I decided to clean it first. Anyway after I cleaned it I installed everything then connected the negative battery. It took atleast 3 attempts to turn it on, When it finally turns on I have a cel plus the traction control light(small skidding car). Could I have damaged the intake sensor when I was cleaning it. The car idles real steady but feels real funny when you drive. I also tried to clear the pcm with the brake stomping system but the cel is still there, and I did the wheel turning thing and the traction control light is still on. The only thing I can think of is that I damaged the intake sensor when I tried to clean it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes it is, I took it to autozone and and they did the check for me and it turns out MAF sensor code came up. What about the traction control light, will this also go out when I replace the MAF sensor or is this something totally different?
