Hazard lights

Here's the deal.
Battery was drained from not yet found source.
Recharged the battery
Reconnected battery
Hazzard lights flash constant as though engaged
Start car and hazzard lights continue to flash for 45 seconds to a minute and stop flashing
Turn ignition off, hazzard start flashing until I disconnect the battery.
Car hasn't moved since 1st week of Nov.
I'm at a loss here.

Start pulling fuses until you know which circuit is responsible. I'm wondering if perhaps its a silent alarm (or your horn doesn't work and the car wants to scream but it can't). Does using the remote key to lock/unlock the car change the behaviour?

Sounds to me like the hazard relay is shorted to another relay.

apparently Loki is correct. I checked the horn and it currently doesn't work ,so it was the alarm activating and I wasn't aware of it.
Thanks guys, I guess that's what I get for not checking the horn upon purchase. I didn't know it wasn't working
