Help!!! 06 GT, low beam HID's will not level out
Ok after I wrecked my 8 last year, and waited 5 months and ($20k+) later. My low beams point straight at the ground maybe 8ft ahead (my turn signals shine further). I have since taken it back to the body shop 2 times and it has been to 2 different dealerships. They say all the sensors check out but I KNOW they aren't right, it is dangerous I can't see a F'n thing. I tried changing bulbs, tried reseting cpu, but still FAIL!! Can anyone help me ???is there any way to get this thing working right??? PLEASE HELP

Make sure that circled piece is not in backwards, also check the connecting wire in the rear. Make sure everything is nice and snug, no hanging wires. I think this is your solution.

you'll need to adjust the height manually at the back of the headlight (or with a screw driver from in the engine bay). the auto leveling sensor only adjusts the height upon changes during driving.

There are two sensors (Front right, Rear Right) for the auto leveling headlights. The sensor is attached to the chassis and there is an arm that connects to a plate that is attached to the lower control arm. The plate taht is connected to the lower control arm is prett easy to bend. I would check that first. If you have had any suspension work done letely that is likely the culprit since the plate is easy to bend and might not be niticed. It shuld be easy to bend it back into place and that should fix your problem. Just be carefull when bending that plate since it would be a pita to get a new one if you break it. Good luck.

My car is currently in the shop, should get it back around 3pm(est) and will check on the sensor arm and plate, but hopefully that would have been checked by the dealers. I will also try re-aiming the beams manually. It's almost like they look ok when parked but as soon as I hit the road I'm flying blind. I am confident if the dealers and body shop can't find the fix than my fellow RX8Club team will help find a solution. Thank you to all for any help and I am open to any other ideas.
