ok so this morning i pressed on the clutch to turn on the carr and the clutch did not come back upp...

wat could have caused this problem?? the clutch does not come bak up unless I bring it up with my foot or hand.

 

Broken bracket.

now covered under warrenty.

 

is there a DIY to replace this bracket? nd i think i dnt have warranty anymore.

 

They just added it to the 8 year 100k warrenty per other members.

Razz so if I had to pay for a new clutch pedal when mine failed earlier this year, they'll reimburse me now?

 

ok so0 i had my car towed to the dealer earlier 2day since there is a covered warrantyy...
but now the guy calls me up sayin tht it is not the bracket, that it mite have to do sumthin with the slave cylinder. I told him that it was impossible, my clutch pedal stays down n the only thing that supports it is the bracket.

These guys r just tryin to ripp me off n charge me $$ since they r not gettin anythin from me bc of the warranty coverage..UGHHH

comments n ideas would greatly b appreciated

 

If it was the pedal, they would collect labor charges from Mazda. I don't know that they are trying to get away with anything.

 

ok so they r sayin tht the slave cylinder is leakin n it has 2 b replaced along w the master cylindeer

 

There is now way to tell from what you have posted. Do we have the complete story?
