HELP! Reving Idle in Park (2005 RX8)
I have a 2005 RX8, just recently manually unflooded it as i was reassembling everything the engine started reving strangly between 1000 and 2000 RPMs. When put it into gear it idles fine but has no throttle response in either drive or reverse. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! And if you feel you would need more information on the situation please let me know!

Does it feel like your engine has no power (literally at all until like 4k rpms with your foot to the ground)?
Before I had my engine replaced, it would rev between 1-2k rpms on startup, and within a few months had literally no power at all. Turned out my compression was low and i had a vacuum leak, so Mazda replaced the engine under warranty.

It didn't have any throttle response at all so I couldn't even get it to 4000 rpm, I started the car the next day and it has been running fine since, im still scratching my head on the subject but glad it is finally back on the road again, if y'all can think of any other reason this would have happened please let me know. Thanks for all the help !
