Help with throttle body/limp mode
This is an intermittent problem. Sometimes the car starts and drives fine and a lot of time it starts In limp mode. Once in awhile it will start and run fine then go into limp mode while running.
this problem began after the battery died about a weak back.
I have a p2106 code and a p2102 code.
I have tried switching to a spare throttle body and it made no difference. The connections at both computer and TB have been cleaned and checked and rechecked. The ground step from the lim to frame is tight. The wiring harness for TB has been checked for breaks and abrasions. I tried manipulating the wiring harness and it makes no difference. Battery has been disconncted and reconnected. When the throttle is working, it operates smoothly as it should.
I need direction where to go from here. Is this a pedal issue? A bad pcm? Is there a ground strap specific to the TB?

Checking the pedal with a multimeter couldn't hurt. If the second throttle didn't respond either then that certainly points to a signal issue. Ruling out a bad pedal pretty much brings you to a pcm issue. Testing the harness for connectivity with the multi meter will also rule that out. Ideally the harnesses from the pedal to ecu and ecu to throttle should both be checked.

Deleting P1688 permanently with some software?
Hello guys!
I got P1688 (OMP problem) in 2004 RX-8.
can it be deleted and permanently erased whole thing with some software? To manipulate ECU so it doesnt matter.
I have checked OMP etc and I oil my car with 2-stroke to gastank.
So I just want to get the code away.
And... my car is also in limp mode, ofcourse.
Please help - software and advices needed.
