Help! Took car in for Catalytic Converter and try to tell me car flooded...disagree

I have a 2008 RX8. Never had any problems until recently, check engine light came on. Had 2 mechanics check the code and both said it was the catalytic converter. Took it to dealer to have replaced since it is covered under warranty and they called me trying to tell me my engine is flooded and need new plugs and coils and a compression test. I told them they were idiots because I recently had the plugs and coils replaced. I have had no problems with the start of the car to indicate any kind of flooding. Car is running great except engine light is on. At this point, I don't want them touching my car but I would like the cat. replaced since it is warrantied. Any suggestions? I am so angry and this is exactly why I never take any of my vehicles to a dealer but for a warrantied piece, I have no choice, do I?

keep fighting them, car was working just fine when you took it in and they obviously messed something up and seem to be trying to cover their asses or make a quick buck. if they persist, id contact MNAO

Thanks. Told them not to lay another finger on my car and it better be running in same manner as it was when I dropped it off. On my way to pick it up. Hopefully they just wanted to make a buck and didn't screw it up. Unbelievable.
