Hey guys, looking for some quick help here. I recently had a radiator hose crack and start leaking fluid in the garage. I went online and ordered a 2 piece silicon replacement kit with upper and lower hoses. I was going out of town and my buddy said he would replace them for me while I'm gone. He calls me yesterday and says that there's a 3rd hose! I've searched the forums and the repair manuals and the internet - everybody sells 2 piece kits and all I see are a single upper and lower hoses. He sends me the following link that shows a 3 piece kit - what's the deal here? I don't want to send back my 2 peice kit - I just need that 3rd piece - its the very top one that goes straight down into the top of the motor near the thermastat. Its a 2004 with 58,000 miles.
Any help would be great.

Should I contact Mazdaspeedstore and ask where the 3rd peice is?

 

Not all kits come with three the mishimoto kit only comes with two as well.

Sorry no one sells it individually AFAIK.

I have complained to manufacturers for this oversight.

I didn't look because Race Roots flat out said "No one sells it individually" - I picked up the individual 3rd hose from the dealership so I guess someone does. But now you mention the 6-piece kit - how did we jump from 3 pieces to 6 pieces? Also why if you guys sell the kit didn't you simply paste the link to it in the begging of this thread?

 

Any little bit of research on your part prior to buying would have saved you the hassle. It's not hard to figure out how many radiator hoses your car has.

 

No Point in pasting the link as you already bought a Rad hose kit.

The dealership can you get you nearly any individual part you desire down to the bolt.

Let us know if you need help in the future the majority of the vendors here drive the car and are enthusiasts as well.

Logically, can you reach the parts you need without removing them? If no then.. there you go.
