Exclamation HVAC System

Okay back with the RX-Beetle...

Finished installing the HVAC System but have Big Issues!

Basically what I did was extend the A/C lines to get it to fit my car, no problem there.
I extended the wiring harness where needed to get everything plugged in, BUT things don't seem to be working!

Things I did not plug in:
-inside/outside air control motor
-the motor that changes the air flow(face, floor, defrost... I have to plum it differently in the beetle)

will it make a difference if these are plugged in or not?

Things that are working:
-Blower motor all speeds
-Hazards
-illumination of the radio buttons and HVAC *****
-CD eject button (you need to press the button like 5 times to get the CD all the way out though)

Things NOT working
-Hot/Cold motor
-A/C button (and all the other buttons but those don't matter)
-Radio
-Display screen

I am having to come to terms that I wont be having an enjoyable drive to CA but would still like to fix this.

Thanks for all the help in advance

Here are some Pics for reference

Also I have two radios with HVAC controls and Display screens.

Plugged both in and the do the same things, not to say they aren't both bad.

Do you hear the compressor trying to come on at all?

Found out what the deal was

What happened was I was not getting ACC power to the Radio leads which in tern supplies power to all of that stuff. I tracked it down to my ignition as I had switched the Accessory and starter wires! That is why I could start the car with the clutch safety switch. Straightened out those wires and now I can start the car with the ignition and have a cut off switch (SHHHHHHH Don't tell!) and Now everything powers up and...

WORKS!

well in theory! I can't tell if the A/C compressor clutch is going to get power when the system is charged or not. I called a Mazda dealer and asked them if the clutch wouldn't kick on if the system had no pressure and they said that sounds about right. Didn't sound too convincing but we will find out tomorrow weather or not it is all good!

every hvac system has high and low limit switches it wont let the compressor run if it has low gas.
