I need some help please

Hi there everyone. Well its been less than a year now with my Mazda Rx-8 I honestly love it. But I have been seriously been forgetting about somethings for a while now. Because of money and time. Anyway. Pretty soon I will need new brake pads. Seriously its getting bad. Harder to stop now, sometimes I hear squeaks. Also I need to get new tires mine don't feel right. Especially an alignment. When I turn I feel my tires are rubbing against something. Also the rotors have to be replaced. They are really rusty. Anyone can help me out. on how much these three things will cost?

I have a Mazda Rx-8 GT 2005.
1. Brake Pads
2. New Tires
3. Rotors

Btw the new car smell air fresheners don't smell like new car. At least to me. Any alternatives? Thanks

Seriously? You're asking for someone to research prices for you?

Check with the vendors of this site. They should be able to help you.

Brake pads:
It really depends on WHICH pads you go with. OEM will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $300 for all 4 corners. Prices go up from there.

Tires:
It really depends on WHICH tires you go with. All seasons will be around $150 a tire, ~$700-750 total for low quality ones. Bump up to acceptable summer tires will bring you more toward $190 or so per tire, ~$850 total. Good summers will have you topping $250 per tire, $1,200 or more total. And different places have different prices.

Rotors:
It really depends on WHICH rotors you go with. Assuming you are just going OEM, rotors will cost you around $400 for all 4, maybe a bit less.

Moral of the story: Shop around, find what you can afford, what places give the best prices.

And if your tires are rubbing on something, that isn't a tire failure, that is something else failing. Though your tires may fail because of the rubbing. Figure out what that is.

Thanks so much. I don't post here often. Yeah will find out. I have a mechanic that my family recommended but he over charges. So I cut him off. I don't know too much about cars. As for the rubbing its only on slow speed turns. This car really sux in the rain. I have to drive slower now cause I am afraid of drifting. But maybe that maybe be in addition to the condition of my tires. IDK. Thanks so much.

The grip level you have in the rain vs dry is ENTIRELY your tires. And even some "good" tires aren't designed with rain in mind, and thus won't perform very well in it. You tires make a HUGE difference in your confidence on the road. Too many people undervalue it.

I found that the rubbing can also be a factor of the lug nuts being to tight. Also the rotors are a little rusty.

Please get some tires before you "drift" into a curb or a median and wipe out your poor car

So I finally made up my mind to try and get in touch with my mechanic. And he is on vacation. He should be back in a couple of days. As far as I know I need to replace my rotors and brake pads asap.

Funny thing I feel grinding even when I don't use the brakes????

Also my front lights are SUPER foggy but when I was the car the glare goes away. What is it? My rear lights are super clear. ???
